Watch Guns N’ Roses Wrap U.S. Tour Dates with Wolfgang Van Halen Joining in on “Paradise City”

“Wolfgang Van Halen. You know how cool that is to say that? That’s fuckin’ cool. You don’t understand — we’re talking legacy!”
That’s how Guns N’ Roses front man Axl Rose introduced a special guest onto the stage this past Saturday, Oct. 2, in Hollywood, Fla., as GnR continued its busy tour schedule. Wolfgang, son of the late Eddie Van Halen, has been opening a number of these gigs on the GnR tour in support of his excellent debut album, Mammoth WVH, which was released in June.

This past weekend’s shows marked the end of Guns N’ Roses’ North American 2021 tour dates for the time being, though the planned Summer 2021 European tour was pushed to Summer ’22.
These remain busy times for the hard rock legends, who also just debuted another new song, “Hard Skool,” which has origins in the Chinese Democracy album sessions of the mid-2000s.
As well as “Absurd,” another new track which turned up lately:
Both new songs will be released as part of a 4-song EP in February, alongside live versions of “Don’t Cry” and “You’re Crazy.”
Recent years saw Guns N’ Roses embark on globally successful reunion tours, but the emergence of new studio tracks was somewhat unexpected — at least officially. Who knows what else the band may get up to next!
