Willie Nelson Announces Outlaw Music Festival Tour 2022 with ZZ Top, Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit & More

The Outlaw Music Festival Tour will return this summer, spearheaded as always by curator/headliner Willie Nelson.

Announced on Monday, the touring festival will feature an impressive lineup of participating acts providing support at various shows, including Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit, ZZ Top, Gov’t Mule, Billy Strings, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Larkin Poe and more, all sharing the stage with the Willie Nelson & Family ensemble.

Said Willie in a statement about the tour, via Rolling Stone:

“The Outlaw Music Festival Tour has always been about family and friends coming together for a great day of music and fun, and with the amazing group of artists joining us, this year promises to be our most special Outlaw Tour to date.”

News of the Outlaw Music Festival Tour comes on the heels of Willie and the music community mourning the loss of his sister, Bobbie Nelson, who passed away on March 10 and was remembered by a heartfelt essay penned by Willie on his official site.
