Take a Ride Through Las Vegas in Wallows’ New Video for “At The End of the Day”; New Album 3/25

Wallows, the three-piece indie/pop band featuring actor Dylan Minnette (one of the stars of the latest Scream film and Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why), Braeden Lemasters, an actor known for roles such as Men of a Certain Age and Cole Preston, will release a new album called Tell Me That It’s Over on March 25.
The group has been sharing a few songs from the record ahead of its release, and the latest arrived on Friday. “At The End of the Day” is a nice little bit of dream-pop sung by Lemasters, with the video depicting the trio on a road trip to Las Vegas, where they ride around Fremont Street and see the sights along the way (including the Pinball Hall of Fame, Peppermill, A Little White Wedding Chapel, and the Jean/Roach Dry Lake Beds and an Elvis impersonator):
Said Minnette of the song:
“‘At the End of the Day’ is about being very invested in a relationship with someone and fearing it may ultimately be doomed but you just want that person to be happy no matter what.”

Another song shared already is “Especially You”:
Tell Me That It’s Over will be the second full-length record from Wallows, following 2019’s impressive debut album, Nothing Happens (with the track “Are You Bored Yet?” eclipsing 100 million Spotify streams) and the Remote EP in 2021. The new record was produced by Ariel Rechtshaid (Vampire Weekend, Haim, Adele) and features 10 new songs that range from “lo-fi post-punk to indie-folk to early-’90s dance-pop psychedelia,” per a news release.
The album’s track list:
1. Hard to Believe
2. I Don’t Want to Talk
3. Especially You
4. At the End of the Day
5. Marvelous
6. Permanent Price
7. Missing Out
8. Hurts Me
9. That’s What I Get
10. Guitar Romantic Search Adventure
In addition to the new album news, Wallows also has an extensive touring schedule in place for much of the rest of the year and beyond — and, indicative of the group’s rise in stature, a lot of these shows are sold out. The routing also includes spots at Coachella and Bonnaroo, which will no doubt introduce them to even more new fans.
