Turnstile Shares Animated Video for “Underwater Boi,” from Acclaimed ‘Glow On’ LP; Sold-Out Tour Starts 2/22

Baltimore-based punk/experimental band Turnstile is preparing to head out on a hotly anticipated and sold-out headlining tour in support of its breakthrough, genre-defying and thrilling 2021 album, Glow On.
The tour gets underway Feb. 22, and on Wednesday the band shared a new animated music video for “Underwater Boi,” directed and edited by the band’s Daniel Fang and featuring footage from the online MMORPG Second Life:
The Turnstile Love Connection Tour will bring the band’s incendiary and chaotic live experience to the masses, and it will truly be a sight to behold — especially given the boost in popularity and attention thrown at the group since Glow On‘s release.
The band’s breakout was long overdue; Turnstile had bided its time in the underground scene for a while before the August release of Glow On, a record that fully expands on the group’s sound, which touches on punk, metal and thrash, even mixing in funk and groove-oriented sounds.
If it sounds difficult to get an idea of what the band sounds like, that’s because it’s hard to define. There’s a little bit of everything in there, and it’s a unique listen.

If you have tickets to one of these shows, congratulations — as the tour is entirely sold out.
