Thom Yorke: New Solo Album ‘Anima,’ Netflix Short Film Coming June 27

Radiohead front man Thom Yorke will release a new solo album titled Anima on June 27 (digitally, while the physical version will be released on July 12). Yorke made the news official on Thursday, also adding that a short musical film “one-reeler” directed by Paul Thomas Anderson will also be released on June 27 via Netflix.
The news of this release comes after Yorke received acclaim for his soundtrack album for the film Suspiria in 2018, as well as other bits of solo material he’s released while Radiohead enjoys some time off after its most recent album, 2016’s A Moon Shaped Pool.
