The Offspring are known for their guitar-forward style of Orange County alt/punk, but the veteran band also has a softer, more sentimental side — and this week, the band shared a warm rendition of the Charles Brown holiday classic, “Bells Will Be Ringing (Please Come Home For Christmas).”

Last winter, the Offspring shared their recording of “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home),” the Yuletide classic made famous by Darlene Love:

Said Offspring front man Dexter Holland of their latest Christmas release:

“We’ve always loved the classic Charles Brown version of this song and think it’s really underappreciated. We thought it would be the perfect follow up to “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home,”), which we recorded last year, and continuing on the coming home for Christmas theme.”

This new holiday song arrives as the Offspring are out on the road promoting their recent album, Let The Bad Times Roll, which was released in 2021. They’re also a main act on the bill for the When We Were Young Festival’s 2023 return next October.
