Some songs just sound even better when you add some brass — and on Monday, the Interrupters unleashed their take on Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy,” one of the most popular songs from the breakout indie/pop singer, who currently dominates pretty much everything in the pop realm.

Recorded live in a studio setting, the Interrupters’ cover transforms the moody original track into a bouncy ska rhythm. Watch it below:

For comparison’s sake, here’s Eilish’s original, as featured on her 2019 album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

This comes at a busy time for the Interrupters, who spent part of the summer on the road with 311 and Dirty Heads and will spend next summer opening the massive Hella Mega tour, taking the stage each night before Weezer, Fall Out Boy and Green Day.
