Stray Cats Strut Back with New Album ’40’ to Mark 40th Anniversary (Listen)

2019 marks the 40th anniversary of Brian Setzer and the Stray Cats, and to mark the occasion the band got back together to record its first studio album in 26 years. Pick up a copy of the record at this link.

Appropriately titled 40, the album was released on Friday and packs a punch, its 12 songs spanning roughly 35 minutes of high-energy tunes with the classic Stray Cats sound.

It was previewed in recent weeks with “Cat Fight (Over a Dog Like Me)”

and “Cry Danger,” both of which put forth a solid idea of what the rest of the album has in store.
