‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ Will Premiere on Disney+ on May (the) 4th — Of Course — So it’s Time for a Marathon!

“May the Force be with you.” It’s as iconic a phrase that has ever been uttered, and it’s even its own “holiday” — May 4th, as in “May the 4th,” as in “May the 4th be with you” — and this May (the) 4th, Star Wars fans the world over will finally be able to stream all nine major motion pictures in the long-running film series when 2019’s The Rise of Skywalker hits Disney+.

Announced on Monday, the film’s arrival on the streaming platform comes with much anticipation. Previously, the film was made available on Blu-ray/DVD/Digital platforms, but Disney had remained quiet regarding when it would hit Disney+.

Of course, May 4th is the perfect date to have the film be made available for streaming.

With The Rise of’ Skywalker making its streaming debut, that means fans will be able to watch all of the following on Disney+:

Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace (1999)
Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones (2002)
Star Wars: Episode III — The Revenge of the Sith (2005)
