Ryan Adams' New Album 'Prisoner' Out Today, New North American Tour Dates Added
The always busy Ryan Adams is at it once again, as his new album Prisoner was released today via Pax-Am/Blue Note. The LP, which was streamed early via NPR, is another stellar addition to Adams’ already prolific catalog.
Adams has never been one to shy away from “leaving it all out there,” so to speak, and the songs on Prisoner are no exception.
Themes of hope and forgiveness are prevalent throughout the album, as the bulk of this material came about during the time Adams was separating from his wife, Mandy Moore, in 2016.

In conjunction with the album release, Adams will appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday night for a special performance. He also detailed some expanded tour dates for the upcoming months in support of the record, with some featuring special guest Jenny Lewis:
