Next Friday, May 31, Rocketman will take off in theaters as the iconic story of Sir Elton John is brought to the big screen — and today, its accompanying soundtrack album was released in advance of the big premiere.
Featuring many of Elton’s classic songs performed by star Taron Egerton, who portrays John in the biopic, the album also features recordings from some of the other cast members, including Bryce Dallas Howard (who portrays Elton’s mother, Sheila Eileen), Kit Connor, Gemma Jones, Steven Mackintosh, Rachel Muldoon, Richard Madden (as manager John Reid), Jamie Bell (Bernie Taupin), and Celine Shoenmaker.
Here’s the track listing:
1. “The Bitch Is Back”
2. “I Want Love”
3. “Saturday Night’s Alright (For Fighting)”
4. “Thank You For All Your Loving”
5. “Border Song”
6. “Rock And Roll Madonna”

And the film’s trailer:
Rocketman comes at a big time for the rock and roll biopic — after Bohemian Rhapsody made waves last year in the box office for its tale of the Queen and Freddy Mercury story, for one, and also as Elton John continues his massive, three-year farewell tour activities.
Might Rocketman be as big a hit as Bohemian Rhapsody? We’ll have to wait and see.
