Preview ‘Rock Camp,’ a Documentary ft. Alice Cooper, Gene Simmons, Roger Daltrey and More as Rock n’ Roll Fantasy Camp Counselors

Started a few decades ago by David Fishof, Rock n’ Roll Fantasy Camp is exactly what its name suggests: A chance for regular folks and aspiring musicians of all skill levels to live out their dreams alongside some true icons. Rock Camp is the name of a new documentary film telling the fun story of the camp, and it’s slated for a virtual release in mid-January, with on-demand options coming in February.
As premiered by Rolling Stone on Wednesday, here’s a trailer for Rock Camp, which features camp counselors in the form of Alice Cooper, Sammy Hagar, Roger Daltrey, Nancy Wilson, Slash, Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Joe Perry and more:
The film’s official synopsis, per the trailer information:
Summer camp meets Spinal Tap as we journey to Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp, where dreamers from across America and around the world gather to shred with their heroes – and learn to rock like the legends.
From filmmaker Doug Blush, whose editing and producing credits include three Oscar-Winning Films: 20 Feet From Stardom, Period. End of Sentence, and Icarus. Rock Camp The Movie follows four campers (and their families) through their journeys to shred with their heroes and see how they overcome their fears and transform their lives.
