This coming Saturday, Nov. 5, will mark the official induction ceremony for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and its Class of 2022.

This year’s inductees include Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, Duran Duran, Eminem, Eurythmics, Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, and Carly Simon; along with Judas Priest and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis for Musical Excellence; and Harry Belafonte and Elizabeth Cotten for Early Influence; and Allen Grubman, Jimmy Iovine, and Sylvia Robinson for the Ahmet Ertegun Award.

The induction ceremony is scheduled for 7 p.m. Pacific from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. It will not stream live; instead, HBO will exclusively stream the induction ceremony two weeks later, on Nov. 19, at 8:00 p.m. ET on HBO and be available to stream on HBO Max alongside a radio simulcast on SiriusXM’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Radio channel 310 and Volume in the SXM App.

Here’s a trailer:

Though the ceremony itself won’t be streamed live as it happens, there will be a red carpet live stream available on Saturday, Nov. 5 beginning at 8p ET/5p PT, hosted by media personality, author and actor Bevy Smith.

That will be available to all via the Rock Hall’s official YouTube channel.

Be sure to tune in to the live stream on Nov. 5 and then the official induction ceremony when it debuts on Nov. 19! And congratulations to all the inductees.

As far as I’m concerned the rock n roll hall of fame is missing two artists who outshine most of this year’s new inductees. They are Warren Zevon and Harry Nilsson. Aside from makin great records, Zevon’s song writing is as good as it gets. Regarding Harry, no rocker from any generation has/had the voice of Mr. Nilsson. It was simply awe inspiring. Until this is fixed I will wait on my trip to Cleveland because it currently is missing too many key figures and inducting talentless artists who are lacking in talent(example Kiss for Christ sake).

Leslie West and Mountain! No excuse! Shouldve done it while he was alive.

  • Jim P says:

I agree with Harry and Warren but also feel Three Dog Night, Grass Roots should be there. Kiss…meh

  • Greg Marriner says:

Absolutely unbelievable that neither of those two are honored and Pat Benatar IS? Seriously? This is why I can never take the Hall of Fame seriously. No Monkees, no Paul Revere and the Raiders, no Procol Harum, etc. etc.–but Pat Benatar. Cripes.
