Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2022 Inductees: Duran Duran, Dolly Parton, Eurythmics, Judas Priest, More

The Inductees to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for the year 2022 have been announced, and a video announcement from the Rock Hall was also just launched today.
Among the names set to be enshrined include Pat Benatar, Duran Duran, Judas Priest, Eurythmics, Carly Simon, Eminem, Dolly Parton, Harry Belafonte, Lionel Richie, Elizabeth Cotton, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Allen Grubman, producer Jimmy Iovine and Sylvia Robinson.
The official induction ceremony will take place Saturday, November 5, 2022 in Los Angeles.
Several of the newest inductees expressed their reactions in a series of videos that made the rounds after the big reveal:
Dolly Parton received an induction despite the fact that she “respectfully declined” her nomination back in March, saying: “I don’t feel that I have earned that right. I really do not want votes to be split because of me, so I must respectfully bow out.”
However, Dolly later acceded to the honor of the induction, announcing on her social media:
“I am honored and humbled by the fact that I have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Of course I will accept it gracefully. Thanks to everyone that voted for me and to everyone at the Rock Hall. I will continue to work hard and try to live up to the honor.”
