This Wednesday, Dec. 23, Rob Thomas — accomplished singer/songwriter both for his own solo work and as the front man of Matchbox Twenty — will host a special live stream concert from his home.

The intimate, at-home Sidewalk Angels Presents: Rob Thomas concert will be hosted by NoCapShows.com, a popular streaming outlet for many artists throughout 2020, and is a benefit for the Sidewalk Angels Foundation.

As for what Thomas will perform during the show, it’ll likely be a selection of hits from his career with Matchbox Twenty and beyond — including, perhaps, this recent cover of “I Believe in Santa Claus,” originally by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers, which Thomas recorded with country singer/songwriter Abby Anderson:

More on the charitable arm of this live stream, per a news release:

Sidewalk Angels Foundation, an organization founded by Rob and Marisol in 2003, is dedicated to providing critically needed funds and support to over 20 no-kill animal shelters and rescues across the country that help fight for the rights and fair treatment of those with no voice. For more information, please visit sidewalkangelsfoundation.org.

Tickets to access the live stream cost $25 and can be purchased here.

Rob Thomas has kept busy throughout the tumultuous times of 2020, pretty much being one of the first artists to stage virtual performances with what he coined #SocialDistanceSessions while quarantined at home.
