Regina Spektor has forged a powerful career path over the years, her captivating, storytelling-style of songwriting reflected on a series of albums bursting with energy and unpredictability.

Today, June 24, Spektor released her latest record, Home, before and after, a collection of songs billed as her “most quintessentially ‘New York’” record in years. It was recorded in upstate New York and co-produced by Spektor and John Congleton, and previewed previously with songs like “Up the Mountain”:
