Rammstein Returns with the Epic “Zeit”; New Album (ft. Artwork Photographed by Bryan Adams) Out 4/29

German industrial/hard rock titans Rammstein have returned: Below, watch the band’s thunderous and exceptionally dramatic new music video for “Zeit,” the title track from a new studio album set for release on April 29:
The song was shared on Thursday and previews Zeit, a new Rammstein album that follows the release of the band’s self-titled 2019 record that reasserted its place in music as one of the most consistent musical forces around.
More about Zeit, which will be Rammstein’s eighth full-length record to date:
Till Lindemann (vocals), Paul Landers (guitar), Richard Z. Kruspe (guitar), Flake (keyboards), Oliver Riedel (bass) and Christoph Schneider (drums) spent two years working on the eleven songs on the new album. They were once again assisted by Berlin producer Olsen Involtini. Zeit was recorded at La Fabrique Studios in St. Rémy de Provence, France.

A quirky and totally unexpected circumstance surrounding the Zeit album process is its artwork, which is a photograph taken by Bryan Adams. Yes, Bryan Adams, as in the Canadian pop/rock icon (who also just released a new record, by the way).
Per a news release:
Bryan Adams managed to get a special scoop for the cover of the new album – the Canadian musician and photographer took the shot of Rammstein on the steps of the Trudelturm in Berlin Adlershof, an imposing monument to aerial research in the city’s Aerodynamic Park.

The title track will also be available in two additional versions, including the standard as seen above and a “meditative, atmospheric neoclassical arrangement by Grammy-nominated Icelandic multi-instrumentalist Ólafur Arnalds, as well as a remix by electro producer Robot Koch.”
A news release also promises “a major European and North American tour in spring and summer 2022” in addition to the release of Zeit, so stay tuned for more. Rammstein had previously rescheduled some stadium tour dates in North America — its first such huge outdoor venue gigs in the country.
Those shows are now slated to begin in late August, pending any further rescheduling:
