Rammstein Announces First-Ever North American Stadium Tour for 2020

Experiencing a Rammstein concert is unlike anything you’ve ever seen. The spectacle, the pomp, the props, the explosions, the sensory overload as the six-man German industrial/metal band tears up the stage in front of you, it’s all A LOT.
And in 2020, Rammstein will take its elaborate production to North American stadiums for the first time in its career. Previously, the band’s sporadic North American touring was limited to arenas, but this time fans will be getting the full treatment.
Detailed officially on Tuesday, the special tour will span just 10 dates from August through September.
The schedule:
Thursday, August 20, 2020 – Montreal, QC – Parc Jean-Drapeau
Sunday, August 23, 2020 – Philadelphia, PA – Lincoln Financial Field
Thursday, August 27, 2020 – Washington, DC – FedExField
Sunday, August 30, 2020 – Minneapolis, MN – U.S. Bank Stadium
Thursday, September 3, 2020 – Chicago, IL – Soldier Field
Sunday, September 6, 2020 – Foxborough, MA – Gillette Stadium
Thursday, September 10, 2020 – East Rutherford, NJ – MetLife Stadium
Wednesday, September 16, 2020 – San Antonio, TX – Alamodome
Saturday, September 19, 2020 – Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
Sunday, September 27, 2020 – Mexico City, MX – Foro Sol
Tickets for the tour are on sale Friday, January 10 at 10 am local time.
This comes after Rammstein released its self-titled seventh studio album in May 2019 — ending a decade-long drought between records and announcing that yes, it was very much still alive, aggressive and dynamic.
If you’ve ever been even mildly interested in anything Rammstein has done — be it “Du Hast” from the 1990s or anything else — you should make every effort to catch a show this summer. It’s a surreal experience.
