Take a Trip Through Weirdness in Pixies’ New Video for ‘Catfish Kate’

On September 13, Pixies will release a new studio album titled Beneath The Eyrie, and on Tuesday the acclaimed and massively influential band premiered a video for a track called “Catfish Kate.”

The news release states the clip “ventures deep into the imagination of the band’s main lyricist Black Francis,” and it’s a trip. Watch below:

This song and clip follows the video for “On Graveyard Hill,” which was debuted previously as another pre-release track from the record:

Catch Pixies on the road in the coming months, including an anticipated set at the Cure’s Pasadena Daydream festival on August 31:
