Phoenix, the French indie/rock/pop band that burst onto the scene in 2009 with its fourth record, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, amassing attention around the world thanks to hit singles like “1901” and “Lisztomania” and won the Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album, is back in action.

In early June, the band debuted a new song titled “Alpha Zulu,” its first new music in two years:

In celebration of the new material — and the group’s ongoing work on a new album, which will be its first since 2017 — Phoenix also mapped out a global tour for the fall, with special guest Porches.
