Sharon Osbourne: Ozzy “Doing Well and on the Road to Recovery” After Major Surgery

On Monday, Ozzy Osbourne went under the knife for what wife Sharon Osbourne said was “a very major operation” that is “really going to determine the rest of his life.” The news, understandably, was met with concern from the rock and roll community, as Ozzy has had a particularly tough time in recent years with his health.
The outpouring of love and well-wishes sent in the direction of the 73-year-old rocker and his family was reflected on Tuesday by Sharon in an Instagram story, in which she provides a big update:
Our family would like to express so much gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love and support leading up to Ozzy’s surgery!
Ozzy is doing well and on the road to recovery!
Your love means the world to him
Continued best wishes to Ozzy Osbourne, Sharon and the whole family regarding his health, which has thrown several obstacles in his way in recent years. A number of medical issues (among them a Parkinson’s diagnosis) forced him to postpone and/or cancel tour dates … and that was before the COVID-19 pandemic hit. He did release a solid new record, Ordinary Man, just weeks before the world paused in March 2020.
We’re all rooting for you, Ozzy!
I’m praying 🙏for his speedy recovery..that I think about him often
