Trey Anastasio Band + Goose to Join Together for Fall Tour, Promising ‘Unique Collaborations’
Watch ‘One World: Together At Home’ Clips from Elton John, Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, Eddie Vedder, Stevie Wonder and More

This past Saturday evening, entertainers from around the world joined forces — remotely, of course, in the age of social distancing — to pay tribute to first responders and those on the front lines battling COVID-19. Put on by Global Citizen and the World Health Organization with the aid of Lady Gaga, the One World: Together At Home global broadcast was a marathon of solid entertainment with a cause.
The broadcast featured participation from several living legends in addition to younger, more contemporary artists, giving the whole thing a generational appeal that spanned young and old. When it was all said and done, it supported healthcare workers in a major way:

The Rolling Stones, a late addition to the proceedings, played “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” from each of their respective home studios/bedrooms:
Sir Paul McCartney, fresh off his headline-grabbing comments on Howard Stern, played the Beatles‘ classic “Lady Madonna”:

From his driveway, piano nestled under a basketball hoop, Sir Elton John delighted with “I’m Still Standing”:

Stevie Wonder paid homage to the late Bill Withers with “Lean On Me” and also performed “Love’s in Need of Love Today”:

Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam, meanwhile, played the song “River Cross,” a tender cut from his band’s great new album Gigaton:

Amazing! You left out what I thought was the very best video of them all: Keith Urban performing “Higher Love” with 2 audio/video replications of himself.
