Watch the Official Trailer for the New Oasis Documentary, 'Supersonic'
The long-rumored documentary film chronicling the hugely successful — and volatile — career of Oasis will be released in October, and on Monday the official trailer for Supersonic made its debut online. Take a look:
Put together by On the Corner, the same production company responsible for the acclaimed 2015 Amy Winehouse doc Amy, Supersonic looks to be THE definitive on-screen account of the tumultuous times between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, the principal members of the iconic Britpop band.
After a theatrical run at theaters in the UK, Supersonic will be made available on Blu-ray, DVD and digitally on October 31.
The film’s release comes during a busy year for Oasis, even though they remain broken up and without any (official) talks of a reunion anytime soon. The band is also releasing a special anniversary reissue of 1996’s Be Here Now as part of its ongoing reissue series, as well.
