New Order and Pet Shop Boys Reschedule ‘Unity Tour’ from Fall 2020 to 2021 Due to COVID-19

This fall’s scheduled Unity Tour, a co-headlining trek from New Order and Pet Shop Boys, will now take place in Fall 2021, it was announced by the bands on Thursday due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The news of the postponement came with this message:

10/01 – Chicago, IL Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island

This is one of the latest tours to be scrapped for the time being because of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has left independent music venues in peril, uncertain if they will be able to survive once the pandemic subsides.
It also follows recent tour postponement/cancellation announcements including the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Smashing Pumpkins, KISS, Tool, Motley Crue/Def Leppard/Poison/Joan Jett & the Blackhearts and many more.
