Rock Cellar Magazine

The ongoing (and amazing) rock battle between Dave Grohl and 10-year-old drum/music phenom Nandi Bushell has hit an even more electrifying level.

Here’s “Rock and Grohl, the Epic Battle,” a new video from Bushell that she shared with the masses on Thursday night:

This video is in response to the superhero anthem Grohl wrote for Bushell in mid-September:

Grohl has seen this latest challenge from Bushell, and he’s ready to push things forward even more:

There’s definitely more coming, so let’s stay tuned.

If you need a bit of catching up to see what this is all about, here’s a rundown:

After feverish online demand for a “drum challenge” made it to Grohl a few weeks ago, he accepted the invitation and sent his challenge to Bushell — a run-through of “Dead-End Friends,” a song from Grohl’s Them Crooked Vultures supergroup with John Paul Jones and Queens of the Stone Age‘s Josh Homme:

At home in the U.K., Nandi Bushell was pretty excited to get such a great message back from Grohl, and she returned the favor with a video of her own:

Which brings us back to Grohl’s superhero anthem for Bushell, her musical response to him, and the promise of more fun stuff happening soon.

We can’t wait!
