It’s the weekend, again, which means one thing: There’s plenty of streaming events from the music world to keep you entertained at home while staying safe from the threat of COVID-19. This weekend’s array of live stream concerts is especially eclectic, so there ought to be something for everyone, depending on your particular interest.

Tom Petty’s 70th Birthday Bash — Friday, Oct. 23 (SiriusXM,, free)

The legendary Tom Petty would have turned 70 years old this week. In the spirit of honoring his legacy and celebrating his impeccable influence (not to mention the fantastic new Wildflowers & All the Rest box set), the Petty estate is throwing a massive virtual streaming event for the occasion.

Pearl Jam — 30th Anniversary Show from 2016 — Oct. 22-Oct. 25, ($14.99)

In Apil 2016, Pearl Jam played a special 30th anniversary concert from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. The occasion called for celebration, PJ performing all of its classic 1991 album Ten in its entirety — plus MUCH more, as Eddie Vedder and the band always stage marathon concerts.

The show will be available to stream via this weekend, after its premiere on Thursday. Catch a re-stream through Oct. 25 and relive what was a magical night for Pearl Jam fans.

Billie Eilish — Where Do We Go? Live Stream Performance — Saturday, Oct. 24, ($30)

Singer/songwriter/phenomenon Billie Eilish will play a special live stream concert event titled “Where Do We Go”? this weekend.

The streaming event is billed in a press release as an “interactive production,” and proceeds from sales of special event-related Billie Eilish merchandise will be donated to Crew Nation, Live Nation’s global relief fund aiding members of music crews and behind-the-scenes individuals out of work or otherwise negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
