Liam Gallagher Turns Oasis Classics Into Coronavirus Hand-Washing Anthems (“Champagne Soapernova,” Anybody?)

Free time is a dangerous thing — and while we’re all stuck at home due to the coronavirus pandemic forcing millions to stay ever-conscious of cleanliness and personal hygiene, it’s up to our imaginations to keep us occupied. Enter Liam Gallagher of Oasis, who spent much of Saturday morning (or afternoon, if he’s back in England) posting hand-washing PSA videos on Instagram.

But, in typically cheeky Liam Gallagher fashion, these aren’t just run-of-the-mill hand-washing videos. Instead, the Manchester icon turned some Oasis classics into informative PSAs, which he sings while scrubbing his hands under the sink.

May we interest you in a little “Champagne SOAP-ernova?”

Or perhaps “Soapersonic,” a riff on “Supersonic”?

Of course, no Oasis conversation is complete without a little “Wonderwall” –er, “Wonderwash”:
