Liam Gallagher, Britpop icon and the voice (OK, one of two main voices alongside his brother Noel) of Oasis for years, will release his third solo record, C’mon You Know, on May 27.

Gallagher has previewed the album with a pair of songs thus far, and the latest is the soaring title track. Debuted on Friday, it’s a soccer stadium-ready anthem meant to be sung loudly, written solely by Gallagher and produced by Andrew Wyatt:

Here’s a recent live performance of the track, from London’s Royal Albert Hall:

As mentioned, it’s the second song shared ahead of the album, following “Everything’s Electric,” which was co-written by producer Greg Kurstin and Dave Grohl (who plays drums on the track):

The same day Gallagher releases his new record, he will also release a live album, Down By The River Thames, capturing a live-stream gig that Gallagher and his band performed during the pandemic.

Per a news release:

Originally streamed on December 5, 2020, the show became one of the most memorable performances of the lockdown era. Liam followed the precedent set by the Sex Pistols and The Clash, and decided to hit the River Thames, armed with a boatload of attitude, a phenomenal live band (including Bonehead) and an arsenal of classic songs. Acclaim included a four-star review from i, who declared the show to be, “A reminder of why the younger Gallagher is now the fans’ favourite.”
