John Mellencamp's 'Sad Clowns & Hillbillies' Album, Tour Coming in 2017

John Mellencamp has announced plans for a rather busy year ahead. On April 21, he’ll release his 23rd full-length studio album, Sad Clowns & Hillbillies, via Republic Records.
Mellencamp also detailed plans for a summer tour of the same name, which will find him sharing the stage with Carlene Carter (daughter of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash) and Emmylou Harris.
Carter is also featured on the new record, as well.
