Jesse Colin Young Covers Van Morrison’s “These Dreams of You” — Watch His New Video

Originally a standout track on Van Morrison‘s classic 1970 album Moondance, “These Dreams Of You” has now been covered by singer/songwriter Jesse Colin Young — he of the Youngbloods and his own versatile solo career.
Young debuted a video for his cover of the track on Friday:
“These Dreams of You’ is a tongue in cheek look at relationships gone really wrong, and I couldn’t resist a good shuffle,” said Young in a statement.
Young has been keeping busy the past year, even despite the pandemic. In November 2020, he released Highway Troubadour, a new collection of reimagined songs from throughout his vaunted career.
“Highway Troubadour is not only a return to my roots, but the beginning of a surprise adventure of solo performing,” said Young about the album’s release. “I have begun to take guitar playing to a whole new level while revisiting my decades of musical catalogue.”
As for immediate upcoming plans, this weekend (Aug. 21-22), Young has two special gigs lined up. Per a news release:
