Hoobastank — yes, that’s the name of the band, folks — is in a reflective mood, and with good reason.

The Agoura Hills, Calif., band is eager to commemorate the 20th anniversary of its breakthrough self-titled 2001 album, a debut record that pushed the group into the mainstream thanks to era-defining singles like “Crawling in the Dark”:

And “Running Away”:

The singles, and the album as a whole, made Hoobastank a household name — a feat made pretty easy given the band’s unique moniker.

As a means of looking back on this key era, Hoobastank has unveiled a preview of a documentary series that promises “a behind-the-scenes look at life on the road, inside the studio and more.”

There are a few episodes in store, beginning with this trailer:

The band also announced its participation in this fall’s Tried-N-True tour, which looks like a ton of fun. Joining forces with fellow early 2000s hitmakers (and co-headliners) Lit, the tour also features Alien Ant Farm and Kris Roe of the Ataris, fans attending a show can definitely expect to sing along with several nostalgic classics each night.
