New from Elton John and ‘Rocketman’ Star Taron Egerton: Stream ‘(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again’

Elton John and Taron Egerton recorded a song together for Rocketman, the anticipated new Sir Elton biopic hitting theaters on May 31 — and that song was premiered on Thursday.
“(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again” is a duet between Elton John and Taron Egerton — who stars in the film as the younger version of the larger-than-life musician and cultural icon. The song’s an absolute romp, and can be heard below:
As you’d expect, the song was penned by Elton and Bernie Taupin, and reportedly plays over the film’s end credit sequence.
Much of the rest of the film’s soundtrack album features Egerton on lead vocals — like this rendition of “Rocket Man,” which was debuted recently:
The video above is a pretty strong trailer for the film, but here’s a more traditional preview for your viewing pleasure ahead of its release in just over two weeks:
The film comes at a big time for the rock and roll biopic — after Bohemian Rhapsody made waves last year in the box office for its tale of the Queen and Freddy Mercury story, for one, and also as Elton John continues his massive, three-year farewell tour activities.
Might Rocketman be as big a hit as Bohemian Rhapsody? We’ll have to wait and see.
