Ghost Announces North American Tour with Mastodon and Spiritbox; ‘Impera’ LP Out Now

On March 11, Swedish hard-rock/metal/glam/pop group Ghost unleashed Impera, the latest chapter in the group’s endlessly compelling arc. The genre-defying record, which dabbles in glam as much it does gloom, continues the singular musical quest put forth by band leader Tobias Forge and his accomplices.
Later this year, Ghost will return to the road for a North American tour with special guests Mastodon and Spiritbox along for the ride — a trio of acts that ought to make for a very solid night of music.

Over the years, Ghost has risen in stature with each release, eventually becoming the arena act it is today. Consistent with the project’s acclaim, Impera debuted at No. 1 in a sweep of the U.S. album charts, having entered the Billboard 200 at No. 2. Per a news release: Internationally, IMPERA bowed at No. 1 in the band’s native Sweden as well as Germany and Finland, while cracking the top 5 in the UK (No. 2), Netherlands (No. 2), Belgium (No. 2), Canada (No. 3), Australia (No. 3), France (No. 5), Ireland (No. 5), and more.
