Garbage Premiere Dramatic Video for 'Even Though Our Love is Doomed'
Don’t want to be dead to life, don’t want to be dulled to extinction.
That’s one of the lines in Garbage‘s new single Even Though Our Love is Doomed, which the band premiered late last week. It’s from their upcoming album, Strange Little Birds, which is due out June 10.
The band premiered a lyric video for the song, and it features visuals that mirror the track’s solemn tones and singer Shirley Manson‘s typically haunting vocals. It all works very well:
It’s the second preview of the album released thus far by the long-running alt/rock band, coming after their colorful Sam Bayer-directed video for Empty.
Catch Garbage on the road this summer in support of the album – they’ve always been an impeccably tight live band…
