If you haven’t kept up with everything the Foo Fighters have been up to lately, it’s OK — Dave Grohl & the guys have been busy. From their Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction to the release of Grohl’s excellent new memoir The Storyteller: Tales of Life and Music to the band’s upcoming horror/comedy film Studio 666 or their zany music video featuring Ted Lasso star Jason Sudeikis and Grohl’s #HanukkahSessions series of Hanukkah covers with Greg Kurstin, there’s been a lot going on.

The latest news is a big one, though: A North American tour announced on Tuesday. Set to invade massive outdoor venues throughout Summer 2022, it’s the most extensive tour stretch from the band since the release of Medicine at Midnight, the group’s 10th studio album, in February (a record that earned three Grammy nominations, including Best Rock Album).

Tickets for the shows will go on sale this Friday, Dec. 3, at 10 a.m. local time. A news release hints to stay glued to the band’s social media pages “For further information on Foo Fighters’ 25th 26th 27th anniversary tour—including special guests to be announced soon.”

Shortly after announcing the tour, the Foo Fighters cancelled the scheduled show at Huntington Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, citing the venue’s refusal to adhere to the band’s safety protocols:
