This year’s Farm Aid music festival from Willie Nelson and friends will take place on Sept. 24 at Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Along for the fun this year will be Willie and his fellow Farm Aid board members Dave Matthews (with Tim Reynolds) and John Mellencamp, and Margo Price, as well as Chris Stapleton, Sheryl Crow, Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Allison Russell, Charley Crockett, Brittney Spencer and Particle Kid.

Notably absent from the proceedings this time around is Neil Young, Farm Aid board member and fellow legend, who explained his absence with a statement on his website:

“I will not be at Farmaid this year. I am not ready for that yet. I don’t think it is safe in the pandemic. I miss it very much.”

Said Willie Nelson in a statement about this year’s Farm Aid:

“I’ve always said that family farmers strengthen us all. Farmers in North Carolina, across the Southeast, and all over the country are growing solutions to our toughest challenges, including climate change. We’re bringing Farm Aid here to highlight their hard work and celebrate the ways we can all join farmers to help.”

Tickets will go on sale starting Saturday, July 30 at 10 a.m. ET. For more information, click here.
