Amy Lee’s Powerhouse Vocals Lead Evanescence on a New Cover of The Beatles’ “Across the Universe” (Listen)

Evanescence broke through in 2003 with its dynamic debut album, Fallen, led by Amy Lee’s powerhouse vocals and a marriage of hard-rock guitars with gorgeous piano melodies. It was the right album that hit at precisely the right time, eventually winning two Grammy Awards and selling upwards of 17 million copies worldwide.

Pittsburgh, PA (Peterson Events Center) —- Jan. 17, 2022 (Original Date: Dec. 14, 2021)
Newark, NJ (Prudential Center) —- Jan. 21, 2022 (Original Date: Dec. 15, 2021)

Worcester, MA (DCU Center) —- Jan. 20, 2022 (Original Date: Dec. 18, 2021)
“Across the Universe” isn’t the only classic track Evanescence has recorded recently, by the way. In early 2020, the band debuted a dramatic video for a new recording of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain,” which again puts Lee’s vocal skills in the spotlight:
