David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash Support Neil Young, Vow to Remove Group Recordings from Spotify

The latest development in the still-simmering saga pitting Neil Young against Spotify has Young’s longtime band mates David Crosby, Graham Nash and Stephen Stills firmly supporting their colleague.
In fact, Crosby, Nash and Stills have also requested that their collective recordings be removed from the digital streaming service. On Tuesday, Nash went public with a show of support for Young, with Crosby and Stills following suit on Wednesday.

Per a news release:
In solidarity with their bandmate, Neil Young, and in support of stopping harmful misinformation about COVID, they have decided to remove their records from the streaming platform including the recordings of CSNY, CSN, and CN, as well as Crosby’s and Stills’ solo projects. Nash has already begun the process to take down his solo recordings.
In a unified statement, the band members commented, “We support Neil and we agree with him that there is dangerous disinformation being aired on Spotify’s Joe Rogan podcast. While we always value alternate points of view, knowingly spreading disinformation during this global pandemic has deadly consequences. Until real action is taken to show that a concern for humanity must be balanced with commerce, we don’t want our music – or the music we made together – to be on the same platform.”
This all stems, of course, from last week’s news of Young removing his music from Spotify in opposition to the claims about vaccination and COVID-19 that have been made on the platform’s The Joe Rogan Experience podcast.
On Monday, Rogan issued a video statement in response to the controversy, which stems over dubious claims made about vaccination and the COVID-19 pandemic by Rogan and some guests on his podcast, one of the most-listened to in the world at the moment.
