Carole Baskin, of Netflix’s ‘Tiger King,’ Will Be On ‘Dancing With the Stars’ This Season (Yes, Really)

Remember Tiger King? Netflix’s eye-popping docu-series chronicling the drama surrounding the life, times and turmoil of zookeepers such as Joe Exotic, Carole Baskin and Doc Antle in the Southeastern region of the United States, was a BIG deal when it premiered way back in March 2020 (which only feels like years ago, given the state of things these past few months). If you haven’t seen it yet, you still can, of course — just be mindful of the controversy surrounding the program.
Well, the show’s back in the news for a reason you might not have expected. On Tuesday, the cast and details for the new season of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars was revealed, and Carole Baskin of Big Cat Rescue is among the participants.
Yes, that’s right, Carole Baskin — the sworn enemy of Tiger King’s Joe Exotic and a principal figure in the series — is on the program.
