A new album from Cheap Trick is coming on April 9, and on Thursday the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame power pop legends shared a new song titled “Boys & Girls & Rock N Roll.”

As its title might suggest, the song’s a high-energy, no-holds-barred rock anthem, and you can stream it below:

“This band is held together by music,” said vocalist Robin Zander of his band’s new record. “It’s the super glue that keeps us writing and putting records out. The reason we started the band in the first place was to tour and write songs and put records out. If all that went away, there would be no point then, would there?”

It’s the second song shared thus far from the new record, following the rollicking lead single, “Light Up the Fire”:

In Another World was produced by longtime Cheap Trick collaborator Julian Raymond, and is the first new album from the group since 2017’s We’re All Alright! and Christmas Christmas.

The album will also include Cheap Trick’s recent cover of John Lennon’s “Gimme Some Truth,” which was premiered in late 2019:
