Back in April of 1995, Carly Simon and her band surprised travelers inside Grand Central Station in New York City for an unannounced concert event that marked the first performance from the celebrated singer/songwriter in 14 years.

The performance was eventually aired as a Lifetime TV special and released on VHS, but until now had not been given the full audio/CD/vinyl treatment.

Announced this week, though, Live at Grand Central will be released on January 27 in a variety of formats. Per a news release, the audio has been re-mixed by multi-Grammy Award winning producer and engineer Frank Filipetti. The concert will be available on Blu-ray, CD, vinyl and digital streaming platforms via MRI/Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment.

Pre-orders for Live at Grand Central will be available soon in our Rock Cellar Store.
