Just Like That … is the title of a brand new studio album from Bonnie Raitt — her 21st album to date and the first since 2016’s Dig In Deep.
The legendary singer/songwriter/guitarist previewed it in recent weeks with a few songs, each of which indicating that her creative well is alive and thriving:

Jambase notes that the 72-year-old musician recorded Just Like That… last summer in Sausalito, California. Raitt handled production duties and was backed by longtime band members bassist James “Hutch” Hutchinson and drummer Ricky Fataar along with recent additions keyboardist Glenn Patscha and guitarist Kenny Greenberg. Bonnie also was accompanied by guitarist George Marinelli on “Livin’ For The Ones,” a song the old friends and collaborators wrote together.
“Livin’ for the Ones” is one of four original songs on the record, and takes a somber, reflective tone about the harshness of life … a concept we can all surely relate to, given the past few years:
The track listing for the album:
1. Made Up Mind
2. Something’s Got A Hold of My Heart
3. Livin’ For the Ones
4. Just Like That
5. When We Say Goodnight
6. Waitin’ For You to Blow
7. Blame it On Me
8. Love So Strong
9. Here Comes Love
10. Down the Hall
