On July 18, Bob Dylan will host Shadow Kingdom, a very special streaming concert event, the legendary songwriter‘s first post-pandemic gig and his first of any kind since December 2019.

A press release states that “Shadow Kingdom will showcase the artist in an intimate setting as he presents songs from his extensive renowned body of work created especially for this event.”

As a preview of the show, Dylan’s online accounts recently debuted a short trailer. Take a look:

Shadow Kingdom will be available via Veeps, and tickets to access the stream are $25.

The streaming platform has been one of the most abundant during this past year-plus of live stream events. Veeps was founded in 2017 by Benji and Joel Madden of the pop/punk band Good Charlotte.

“It’s an incredible honor and a high point for us all at Veeps to have the opportunity to be working with Bob Dylan,” said Joel Madden (per Rolling Stone), “and to be a part of what is sure to be a truly special and historic performance, not only as professionals but as music fans, too.”

Rolling Stone noted that the wording of the event doesn’t specify whether this will actually be a live stream show or a pre-recorded performance, though it promises to be special nonetheless. Dylan, after all, released an acclaimed new album, Rough and Rowdy Ways, in June 2020 as the latest entry to his untouchable catalog of music. The album also earned him his very first No. 1 song, the 17-minute epic “Murder Most Foul,” which was released ahead of the album.
