Join the Beatles’ ‘Yellow Submarine Sing-A-Long Watch Party’ this Saturday 4/25 on YouTube

This is your chance to be an honorary member of the Beatles — kind of.
On Saturday, April 25 (coming up in just three short days!), the official Beatles YouTube channel will host a special “Yellow Submarine Sing-A-Long Watch Party,” which is exactly what its title sounds like.
From wherever you may be in the world, hunkered down at home as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, you’ll be able to hop on to the Fab Four‘s YouTube account and take part in this global event, geared around — you guessed it — encouraging peace, love and happiness in these uncertain times.
The official announcement came through on Wednesday:

Ringo Starr teased some sort of special YouTube event on his Instagram page on Tuesday afternoon:
Peace and love I am just giving you all a heads up if you tune in to the Beatles YouTube channel on Saturday the 25th at 9 AM Pacific 12 noon Eastern you are in for a big surprise and fun and peace and love 😎✌️🌟❤️🎵🎶🥦🐘👏🍎☮️

And, as it turns out, this is indeed related to a “Yellow Submarine” sing-a-long event, as the YouTube page updated with this placeholder video counting down until 12 p.m. ET on Saturday:

The big question, of course, is who might be participating in this sing-a-long party. Ringo would seem a likely pick, given his Instagram post, but what about Paul McCartney? And … anybody else? Intriguing!
You could very well stay parked on that YouTube page above and count down the minutes until it all goes live in a few days, but that seems ridiculous. Instead, why not try honing your skills singing along with the classic track?
Also on April 25, be sure to tune in to All Together Now!, an all-star streaming concert benefiting the city of Los Angeles in its fight against COVID-19. More details below:
