Ann Wilson Shares New ‘Howlen Live’ EP, Featuring Tracks from Recent Gigs in Florida

Ann Wilson has been busy the past few months releasing material, some of it remastered material predating her time with Heart — and, now, some new live tracks, recorded from the singer’s recent shows in Florida with her backing band.
Released to streaming platforms on Wednesday, the Howlen Live EP features four live songs from performances in Orlando, Clearwater and Ft. Myers with her band, The Amazing Dawgs (Tom Bukovac on guitar, Tony Lucido on bass, Paul Moak on guitars/keys & Sean T Lane on drums).
'HOWLEN LIVE' IS OUT NOW!
As we finished up the leg in June, it became clear to me that we made some real magic out there….

There's much more where that came from.

It’s the same group Wilson will tour with throughout the rest of the month:
Aug. 14 Birchmere Alexandria, VA
Aug. 15 Maryland Hall Annapolis, MD
Aug. 17 The Egg Albany, NY
Aug. 18 Hampton Beach Casino Hampton Beach, NH
Aug. 23 City Winery NY New York, NY, United States
Aug. 24 City Winery NY New York, NY, United States
Said Ann Wilson to fans in an email message with the live tracks:
Hola fellow humans,
Here we are about to hit the road once again to share with you some new aural concoctions as well as to dance like we’ve just woke from a long, dark slumber.
And dance we shall!
The Amazing Dawgs (Tom Bukovac, Tony Lucido, Paul Moak & Sean T Lane) are joining me out on the road once again & together we’ll be stretching out even further, reaching new heights throughout our trip.
Please enjoy that taste! There’s much more where that came from.
I can’t wait to see you beautiful people at these August shows!
The four tracks include two Heart classics (“Crazy On You” and “Barracuda”), a recent Wilson solo song (“Black Wing”) and a cover of Queen’s “Love Of My Life.” Click here to visit Bandcamp and listen to/download the Howlen Live EP.
