On April 26, Alan Parsons will release a new studio album titled The Secret, which has been in the works for some time. Parsons recently premiered the song “Miracle,” featuring Jason Mraz, as a preview of the record.

On Thursday, a music video for “I Can’t Get There From Here,” with Jared Mahone on lead vocals, surfaced online. Featuring a narrative and clips from a movie titled 5-25-77, about a young director as he excitedly awaits the debut of the original Star Wars film in 1977, can be seen below:

The title of the album comes from Parsons’ personal interest in magic:

“Magic has always been a passion of mine, I am a member of The Magic Castle in Los Angeles. I’ve also worked with the Japanese magic company Tenyo, writing instruction books and catalogs for their tricks. I dabble with magic myself in my free time, so an album with magical influences was a natural progression”.
