Out Now: Adele Returns with Powerful, Resolute New Album ’30’ (Listen)

Few artists command the attention of the world like Adele — and in mid-October, the acclaimed singer/songwriter debuted a comeback single, “Easy On Me,” her first bit of new music in years.
Today, Nov. 19, sees the release of her new album, 30, her first record since 2015’s 25. Another deeply personal, reflective collection of songs, whispers of the album’s release put the world on high alert, pushed even higher with the recent Adele One Night Only TV event — and now, the wait is over.
It was a ride, so I threw my arms up and screamed! Love you all ♥️ https://t.co/QyxTf5ciTM pic.twitter.com/9nFsgNX5TS

This was how Adele characterized 30 in a statement accompanying the “Easy On Me” video premiere:
“I’ve learned a lot of blistering truths about myself along the way. I’ve shed many layers but also wrapped myself if new ones. Discovered genuinely useful and wholesome mentalities to lead with, and I feel like I’ve finally found my feeling again. I’d go so far as to say that I’ve never felt more peaceful in my life. And so, I’m ready to finally put this album out.”
